What is the difference between SucraShield and SorbiShield 90? |

SucraShield and SorbiShield 90 are both sugar esters with similar modes of action and lethality registered for greenhouse, field crop and ornamentals. However there are a few differences. 1.
SorbiShield 90 is more concentrated than SucraShield and is made from a different sugar source. SucraShield has 40% active ingredient and is formulated from sucrose where SorbiShield 90 is more concentrated
with 90% active ingredient and is formulated from sorbitol. 2. SucraShield is approved for use in USDA organic programs today. SorbiShield 90 is still pending 3. SorbiShield 90 is applied at a lower
application rate. SucraShield is applied at 0.8-1% v/v for plant and 1.25-2% for mushroom production. SorbiShield 90 is registered for 0.5% v/v for plant protection and is not currently registered
for mushrooms. |

SorbiShield 90 has been tested and used with hundreds of fungicides, insecticides and adjuvants. However, due to multiple formulations and water quality a 'jar test' should be performed the
first time a mixture is made following label directions. Knowing and adjusting water quality and pH is critical for all pesticide applications and compatibility. Always read and follow label directions. |
