Product: SorbiShield90
Use Sites: Greenhouse, Orchids
I have been using SorbiShield 90 on my orchids for years.
"Many of the pests in orchids live and propagate in the growing medium and some pests like mealy bugs and ants carry
virus from one plant to the next before one realizes that the infecting plant has a virus. The advantage of this product is
that you can spray to drench both the plant and the growing media without any problems from the residue. When you
normally water or spray any residual is washed off and since it degrades readily, build up is not an issue.
It is the only thing I have found that is good enough yet safe enough to use for mealy bugs. It works well on red spider
mites which are another difficult pest for orchids.
I grow mainly members of the Cattleya, Oncidium, Vanda, Cymbidium and Paphiopedilum alliances. I have a few
Phalaenopsis but they do not do as well either in the greenhouse (unheated) or outdoors in Southern California.
I use the product when I see evidence of the pests. This is about 4-5 times per year."

Product: SorbiShield90
Use Sites: Greenhouse, Sweet Bell Peppers
"We grow sweet bell peppers in a greenhouse environment and SorbiShield 90 has been terrific for our pest problems,
especially thrips. We have good experience with this product and without worries of plant toxicity or excess tolerance
levels.
I would recommend trying it on similar greenhouse crops for simplicity of use and excellent results. " says Bill Abel,
president of Flores del Sol.
